My own new year resolution.. Happy Birthday!

Hey hey, it's finally 15-02 of the year!
A day that i really looked forward to, every year..
Because it's my birthday!!
And my sister's too.. Yeap, we share the same birthday date~
..was what i planned to wrote on my blog on last 1502 of this year. ..which, in the end i gave up as i was not in the mood of blogging. But dear me in the future, let me remind you that this year's birthday was incredibly fun and amazing birthday!

Firstly, two of my besties in my whole life texted me in the middle of the night on 1502, to wish me Happy Birthday. (oh yeah, though one of them fell asleep right after she texted me at 1145 on 1402. lol)

Btw, I had a muffin as my birtdhday-cakemuffin. P> Received from my classmate as it was a Val's day on 1402(the Japanese's girls will bake some cake/muffin/biscuits and distribute it to their friends on this day)

My small birthday cakemuffin

Then, the next early in the morning when i entered the class for english exam, I received my first birthday present of the year!

First birthday present from Ando Hana, my classmate
It wasn't a nice picture though, as i snap it with my iphone front cam.

Turned out to be a mickey nightmare movie's cotton bag and a cute lovey handkerchief
I was so 'terharu' that she remembered my birthday!
And then on that day i requested to go out having dinner in a nearby restaurant with some of my friends (well, two of them). At first i was a bit reluctant to continue my plan as it was raining on that day. Rain = very cold! Plus, one of us said that she had a dizzy, and that made me almost give up on the dinnner-out-restaurant.

But in the end we stick to the plan, and ordered lots of menu. Yummy!

After dinner, we went to jusco for a while to buy some things, and i went to Baskin robbin' to have my dessert. XP

We went back to the hostel around 9pm. Then they told me to stay in my room, as they're going to bake my birthday cake.. Yeap, we have this kind of traditional occasion; we bake the cake together for the birthday girl, and 'attack' the room at 12 midnight. But since we're still having our exam, i don't exactly know when they're coming!
So I sit in my room quietly while waiting for my sister to call me tru skype. Then we had our chit-chat, and i talked  with Khayla my niece, meet Khadeeja my new niece, until suddenly i saw candles and the girls storming into my room, while my table was still in a mess as i wasn't prepared.
I din't remembered how i react when i saw them, but i remembered that i was embarrased in front of my family for the shocked face i had back then. lol

the luxurious Macha Chocolate cake
Let's skip the long talk. These are the presents i received that made me cried of happiness. lol

A cute lamp with a cute kitty figure
Lappy bag for my new deeekyaaahpc, and a new puma shoe bag!
Ah~ awesome lah you all~ XOXO

Then while having late night girls talk, my classmate, texted me and wished me and apologize as she forgot to wish me though she said she remembered it the day before. And she sent me this picture>>

Wee-h
Cute la my classmate nih~!

I also received some be-lated birthday presents.

Cute flower and little rabbit magnets from Shou chan..
A stickyle, as it says; a stick-style scissor from my besty, Shimizu
Mama-mia! As I told you, my dear future-me.. my birthday this year was extravaganza-ly awe-some~!

Aside from a prank call from my senior during my boarding school first year in SM Sains, asking me to go back hostel immediately saying i did something bad and it turned out they ask me to sit in the middle of the room while a lot of people watching, and sang me birthday song! lol

And also the midnight surprise wish, when my friend suddenly wake me up and i din realise all my roomates was there surrounding me. Malu beb! I wonder how did i look while I was sleeping at that time. hUU

Then the falling cards from my wardrobe in the dark when i got back from morning shower.. Ah~ sweet!

But not the most event that I hate; midnight FIREDRILL! though Some of my friends wished me with a sleepy face when we got back from the firedrill. haha

well, then.
It's time for my new year resolution. I gave some thoughts bout it, a little 'muhasabah', which is a reflection of myself.
I do realize dat I always did my job half-hearted. I wanna be like this, but i din seriously put an effort into it. I wanna do this, and this, and then in the end i achieved none. So this year, I wanna really focus on what i wanna do, put a maximum effort on it, and do not complain. No matter how long it gonna take, I won't bother if people look down on me, because it won't give me any benefit. yeap, good job, girl. *pat my head*
Other than this, chop-chop! It's between me and my benny.
Last but not least, to my dear future-me: Be YOURSELF! Be brave! And keep on looking your ways to benefit the ummah!

"So as for he who transgressed,
And preferred the life of the world,
Then indeed, Hellfire will be home,
but as for he who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from (evil) desires,
Then indeed, Paradise will be home."

12 days d'korea

Salam alaik, readers.
It's been a very long time since i last wrote my blog.
well then, I went to Korea with friends, 6 of them, last year. actually, Last December. For 12 days.

SO, upon our arrival in the airport, we changed some of our money at the 'Hana Bank'.

And we headed to the Guesthouse. The gorgeous guesthouse, 'Duriworld House'.

FYI, the guesthouse is only for girls. And i stayed in the same room with my Sarawakian friend.

The manager of the guesthouse, Mr Andrew Ohm. His partner, JJ. In case you wanna stay in Korea, do contact him.

After we perform our prayer and all, we started our journey to Myeong-dong.(if i'm correct bout the name, yeah, we went to myeong-dong) You might wanna hold ur friend's hand 'cause it's slippery! and it's -11degree celcius!

Here's what i think is cool! You can touch-screen the information screen or, i don't know what it's called..
At least if i need to check where i'm heading to, i won't have to use my phone! Need to save the battery. Haha

So here we are. Myong-dong. It's like the Takeshita street in Japan; only it's bigger, and colder, and packer, and cheaper. I guess so. We need to get really close to each other so we won't get lost.
It's a shopping street, so there're lots of tourists here, even the Malaysians. Oh yeah, there's a really cheap bag shop, cost 10000 won per bag. But sadly, i didn't buy it cause I'm not interested. The others bought them like, 3-4 bags. Whoa!

And then we went to have our lunch, at a restaurant which, i forgot to ask it's name. It's quite expensive, but worth for it. We ate Bul-nakji, which is kinda like, uh, sambal sotong, which is totally incredibly, hot! I mean, seriously spicy octopus. But i love this dish very much!

So, after enjoying our heavenly shopping time, we continued our journey to the Namsan Tour, It's like the Tokyo Tower, but it's really cold and i barely can't feel my leg anymore because of the coldness and the numbness, which i thought that i might die in coldness, if i didn't ran into the first convenient store we saw on top of the 'hill'. geez, seriously i felt like a traveler in the desert seeing a pond. yikes!

Just a pic a took randomly on top of the hill with the degree of -12 or less. it was freaking cold!

Then the next day we went to Lotte World, but only the indoor game. Gladly all the indoor game wasn't as scary as i thought it would be. Surprisingly i'm okay with steep hills for ski and such, but not theme park, cause i hate them!

we had our fun for 4days, then we went to the winter programme, JUMS(Jalinan Ukhuwwah Musim Sejuk) held by ISMA Jepun, in collaboration with ISMA Korea. for 3 days.

Sadly, I lost my camera's memory card at my friend's house, which we never found it back after that. The story was, my memory card was full -> i tried to move them to my hard disk -> were rushing in the morning -> lost it while , i don't know when. The end.

But then i found a shop which sell camera's memory card, (at last, phew! it's really hard to find it in korea) even though it was expensive for a 4GB card, i bought it anyway.

And so, we went to the 63 Building.

There's a wax museum, so we took some pictures. But i used my friend's memory card, which i never had the chance to transfer them to my hard disk, so no picture. *sigh*

anyway, here are some..
The pretty view from the 63rd floor of the 63 Building.

Tell you what, my mom would freak out that the floor we stepped on in this picture, was actually transparent. I did. Didn't dare to look down.

The KLCC Twin Tower's 3D puzzle.

Oh yeah, on our last day, we also went to the Kitty's Cafe! Cute foods, cute coffees, stuff and all. But sadly, it wasn't as delicious as it looks.
Took some crazy fun pictures. haha

We also went to the Mosque at Ittaewon. As pretty as it look, it has 'Allahu Akbar' written on it, which means 'Allah is The Greatest'.

The only thing i regret was not going to the cat cafe, because i was crazy for coffee in Korea. Compared to Japan, there are lots of kinds of coffee shop everywhere. And my favourite coffee is, caramel macchiato!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'm immune to coffee compared with my friends, as they were having problem to sleep and cute-ly being hyperactive after drinking coffee.. ngee..

Last but not least in my post this time, I bought lots of souvenirs to bring back to my family. Wish i could go traveling with them one day.

Toodles then! Wish I can post my blog about trip in Turkey one day.. My second top list to go after the sacred holy land, Mecca. Was envy with mom and sis for going there during my coming holiday.

Annyeong!
