This is me!

It's been a whiiile since last I've updated my blog. First and foremost, forgive me for the weird terms I used, and forgive me for the poor grammar. I know it sucks, but it's just a way to express my thoughts and emotions. Whatever, it's the thought that counts.

It has been almost 4 years give and take since I studied in this land of the rising sun. Lots of changes had happened(I think)in me, in a good way and also maybe in a bad way.(normally happens to most people I think..?) Plus, I've been away from my family most of the time since I entered boarding school when I was 13. 

I realised I was such a crybaby back then. A day or two before my return to the hostel, I'm always in a bad mood, one of the reason is also because I didn't finish my d*** homework. I hate doing homework because for me it doesn't help me to improve at all beside wasting my precious time. hahah. 

As soon as I graduated from high school I had to finish my PLKN that took 3 months to finish. Later on, I accepted scholarship to further my study in Japan and had to go through 2 years of foundation before going there.

Then after the 2 hard years I finally pass the monkasho shiken(an exam to qualify us to go to Japan). Even though Japan had been through a very hard time because of the biggest earthquake that causes the delay of our flight, I finally get a call from our sponsorship A DAY before my flight.(pheww gladly I was already in KL)

There were lots of fun things we did besides focusing on study, of course. Last 2 years, I was able to meet the Agong and the Permaisuri of Malaysia in person, here in Japan! Everyone know it's almost impossible to meet them, and we're lucky to be able to have a dinner with them!

 In Japan, having party is VERY crucial. Welcoming party, farewell party, halloween party, christmas party, new student party, early year party, second-floor party, who-knows-what party.. During the party, we have games, fashion show, nonsense talk, who-is-your-boyfriend talk, etc.

 We also have the annual shio-higari for the foreign students in Kisarazu-digging lalas(clams) during the summer. It's my favourite event, as we have lala party where everyone have to prepare a dish of lala and eating together. Yummy!

 I also enjoyed shopping in Japan, because their service is superb. I remembered my 'sakainess' to pay my things at the self-service counter, where we pack our things ourselves and pay at the machine. (You can't cheat, because the machine will know!) In Malaysia, most of the salesperson are rude and sometimes they ignored you as if you doesn't exist! But here, once you entered the shop(no matter how big or small it is) they will shout, 'irrasshaimase!'(Welcome!) When you pay at the counter, they'll ask, 'do you bring your own shopping bag?...' , 'this plastic will cost for 5 cents, is it okay with that?..', 'i received 1260 yen..', 'I'll return 34 yen', 'this is the receipt', 'thank you, please come again!'. Even the machine will talk to you politely. Come on la.

We also had our 'Hari Sukan', which is more like family day, where everyone(mostly) had to take part in the event.

 Beside that, we had the annual gakuen-sai (hari kantin) and there were a lot of events held, and people were happy to show off their weird costumes..

In the hostel, we will celebrate the birthdays (among the foreigners only) and everyone will bake the cake together for the birthday girl!

During the new year, children normally receive angpow from their parents or relatives. This year, I received my first angpow from the auntie of the halal japanese restaurant whom I always met. This restaurant just recently take part in producing halal cuisine in Japan. (Thanks, Japan!)

 I finally graduated after 3 years of hardwork and tears. hahah. I often called apek just to hear me cry non-stop for hours when I'm in dilemma.
